Hebat-Allah Tohamy has extensive experience in cellulose chemistry and technology, agricultural waste recycling, sustainability, kinetics, thermal analysis, and nanomaterials development. Her research expertise includes:
Nanomaterials and Hydrogels: Preparation and applications of amphiphilic polymers, carbon-based materials, graphene oxide, carbon nanotubes, and carbon quantum dots.
Environmental and Pharmaceutical Applications: Use of nanomaterials for water treatment, drug delivery systems, and waste contaminant detection.
Material Characterization Techniques: Proficient in XRD, TEM, SEM, IR, TGA & DTA, DSC, Raman spectroscopy, UV, elemental analysis, VSM, and fluorescence spectroscopy.
Research Environment: A decade of experience in scientific research and laboratory work since 2012 at the National Research Center (NRC), Cellulose and Paper Department.
