Biography of Professor Rachid Masrour

Professor Rachid Masrour is a Moroccan physicist and Full Professor at the Faculty of Sciences Dhar El Mahraz, Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, Fez, Morocco. He earned his Doctorate in Materials Physics in 2006 and University Habilitation in 2013. His academic journey includes a Bachelor’s in Solid State Physics and a Master’s from Hassan II University, Casablanca.

Previously, he served as a research professor at the National School of Applied Sciences, Cadi Ayyed University, Safi. He held key roles such as Head of the Industrial Engineering Department and Coordinator of the preparatory class stream. Since joining the Faculty of Sciences Dhar El Mahraz, he has contributed significantly to research and education, leading courses on advanced physics topics like radiation-matter interaction and phase transitions.
